FAQ
Is Neurofeedback safe?
Yes, neurofeedback is safe and non-invasive. LENS neurofeedback uses extremely low-level signals and is considered gentle, though responses can vary. It is FDA-approved for Relazation and Self-Regulation. We will discuss what to expect and monitor your responses throughout the process.
How long does it take to see results with neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a flexible process, and the number of sessions varies depending on your goals, symptoms, and how your brain responds. Some people notice shifts within a few sessions, while for others, meaningful change may take several weeks or months.
Generally speaking, most training plans range from 10 to 50 sessions. Traditional Neurofeedback tends to be more gradual and interactive, while LENS is typically more passive and may show faster results. Frequency is also important โ sessions are often scheduled once or ideally twice per week to support momentum and lasting change.
Progress is monitored regularly. If meaningful improvements arenโt observed, the protocol may be adjusted, another therapeutic approach may be considered, or referrals to additional providers can be made as needed. The goal is always to ensure the most effective, personalized care.

How do I know which service is right for me?
Thatโs something we can explore together during an initial consultation or intake session. Your goals, symptoms, and history will help guide a personalized treatment plan that may include talk therapy, neurofeedback, or a combination of both.
How often should I come in for sessions?
This varies depending on your goals and current symptoms. Many clients start with weekly sessions and adjust frequency as progress is made. Neurofeedback protocols may initially require more frequent visits to build momentum.
